Description
Shelly Blu Door/Window is a Bluetooth connectivity sensor, designed to detect the opening and closing of a door or window, but can also measure the tilt angle of a tilting window (which leans). In addition, it has a light sensor.
To use it, this sensor will have to be within the Bluetooth signal range of a Shelly device that has activated Bluetooth Gateway (the Plus and Pro series shelly products have this functionality).
This device uses a small CR2032 battery and is significantly smaller than Wi-Fi-based sensors.
It has the possibility of activation of Beacon mode, which allows periodic data sending (every 30 sec.) Indicating the state (open/closed), the angle of inclination, the lighting and the state of the stack. This mode can be an extra form of security as it reports that the sensor is working properly. If, for some reason, the sensor ceases to work, it is possible to send a notification to inform that something is wrong or trigger an automatic action on another device.
